Our first grant was processed July 28, 2022, and we have since granted $186,169 to qualifying recipients with medically necessary travel needs. Our primary fundraiser is our annual Boots and Ballgowns Gala that we plan to host the second Saturday of every September, however, we have made the difficult decision to rely solely on our donors’ contributions this year. Dax, our brave boy that inspired the foundation, will undergo a second open heart surgery and heart catheterization this fall. Due to the timeline of his needs, our family plans to focus on his care. We feel confident our donors understand and support our decision.
